On 14th July 2023, a sapling distribution and plantation drive was organized by
Nature Club of Loreto House. 200 saplings were collected from the Urban Recreation
Forestry Division, Directorate of Forests, Govt. Of West Bengal. Representatives
of Nature Club and JPIC collected the saplings and distributed them among the
students of classes 4 to 12. Students showed enthusiastic response towards
the program as they wanted to join this nobel cause of contributing towards
a greener planet.
Saplings were also planted in the school premises as a part of the 'Mission Plantation West Bengal'.
The Nature Club students and animators wholeheartedly participated in this project, keeping to their pledge of working towards a better environment.
Everyday we strive to conserve Mother Earth and this was our way of helping her restore her beauty. Everyone showed true “Klima Spirit” in this resplendent plantation drive.
